AJN Wedding Photography

This Agreement is made between AJN Wedding Photography (“Photographer”) and the Client (including its employees, representatives, or assigns). The Client confirms they have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement. The Photographer operates as an independent contractor.

1. Definitions

  • “Images” refer to all visual media (photos or videos) captured and delivered in any format including digital, optical, magnetic, or analog.

2. Copyright

All copyrights to the photographs, films, and other visual works remain solely with AJN Wedding Photography, worldwide and indefinitely.

3. Display & Promotion

By signing this agreement, the Client permits AJN Wedding Photography to use images or videos from their event for promotion across portfolios, social media, websites, sample albums, advertisements, and print publications.

4. Coverage & Reproduction

  • Photographic coverage is at the discretion of the photographer, but efforts will be made to follow client preferences.
  • Movement may be restricted at religious or private venues; AJN is not responsible for any obstructed views.
  • Due to varying lighting conditions and sensor limitations, color variations may occur.
  • AJN is not liable for publishing any audio/video deliverables online unless otherwise agreed.
  • Equipment is regularly checked, but AJN is not responsible for data loss or technical failure.

5. Requested Photos

AJN will make every reasonable effort to capture specific photos requested by the Client but cannot guarantee all will be fulfilled due to time, lighting, weather, or subject cooperation.

6. Payment Policy

  • 30% advance on booking (non-refundable)
  • 50% on the first event day
  • 20% on final delivery
  • Payment structure will be shared upon booking.

7. Event Day Terms

  • AJN will be the exclusive professional photographer at the event.
  • Photography breaks will be taken during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Inform us beforehand for any special shot needed during that time.
  • Client must provide a stable power source at the venue for lighting setup.
  • Travel, accommodation, meals, and local transportation are to be arranged by the client.

8. Failure to Perform

AJN will not be liable if performance is prevented by:

  • Delay or absence of the bride/groom or venue restrictions.
  • Acts beyond control (strikes, legal restrictions, transport issues).
  • If unavailable, AJN will try to provide an alternate professional photographer.

9. Cancellations or Postponements

  • Advance is refundable within 2 days of payment only.
  • Cancellation < 24 hrs: 30% fee
  • Cancellation after departure for shoot: 50% fee
  • Postponement will incur applicable charges based on time and notice.

10. Delivery

  • Photo Album & Edited Video will be delivered within 45 days (after photo selection).
  • All selection must be done within 7 days after the final event.
  • Final delivery may be delayed if client communication is delayed.
  • No rework will be done without payment post-delivery.

11. Deliverables

  • A free invitation video/template is provided (no changes to music or design).
  • Customization of template will incur extra charges.
  • Charges apply for extra edits or resubmission.
  • Final delivery marks closure unless rework is paid.

12. Working Hours

  • Ring Ceremony / Sangeet / Mehndi / Reception: 4–6 hours/day
  • Marriage Day: Up to 15 hours
  • Pre-wedding: 6 hours/day
  • Extra Time: ₹5,000/hour
  • Gruha Pravesh & Chaturthi rituals not included. Vidai covered only from mandap.

13. Equipment Damage

  • Laser lights during baraat can damage sensors. If client insists despite warning, client will bear equipment repair/replacement cost.

14. Digital Files & Social Media Rights

  • AJN retains rights to use images/videos for promotion (website, ads, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
  • If the Client wishes to opt out, they must notify in writing via email/WhatsApp before the event.
  • Verbal or post-event objections are not valid.

15. Client Assistance

Client should assign a family member or friend to assist the photography team in identifying key moments and people. AJN is not responsible for missing uncommunicated moments.

16. Shipping Charges

Shipping for albums or hard copies is extra and applicable for deliveries outside Bhubaneswar or Odisha.

17. No Delivery Without Full Payment

No part of the order will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.
